RESTRICTED / DANGEROUS GOODS SERVICE / FREIGHT ANALYSIS
Goods that are classified as restricted or dangerous by IATA (International Air Transport Association) will NOT be permitted as a courier consignment. Goods of this nature MUST conform to IATA regulations and be packed in accordance with their rules and regulations. Any goods of this nature will be quoted per consignment.
IN-HOUSE SERVICE
Preparation and packaging of goods on site, reducing workload for clients and supplying the necessary software for the printing and preparation of waybills and stickers. We are able to offer a full in – house package which includes an operator, ie. Placing personnel employed by Acacia Way Trading 53CC – Global Logistics Solutions to manage and operate the in – house systems, as well as assisting with the following up of consignments.
HUB AND SPOKE SYSTEM
We make use of a hub-and-spoke system to deliver freight within our network. Freight is shipped from the operating hub (JHB) to the closest major center to your parcel’s destination. i.e; a parcel destined for Paarl will be transported to Cape Town as the nearest major center and distributed from there.
FREIGHT ANALYSIS
We are able to provide a full cost analysis on your current distribution accounts and supply the correct viable solutions.
Our rates and service options are discussed in detail by our representatives with each person dealing with the distribution within your company, and when required, with the respective accounts department / controller, to ensure that all structures are clearly understood with regard to the various rate calculations, service options and delivery times.
